About Nightwind Treatment Centre
Nightwind Treatment Centre (NWTC) is a leading provider of trauma-informed, culturally grounded treatment services for Indigenous youth aged 8 to 18 across Alberta. We believe in healing the whole person—mind, body, heart, and spirit. Our comprehensive programs blend evidence-based clinical practices with Indigenous healing traditions to create a unique, holistic approach to youth mental health and wellness.
We serve youth from across Alberta who are navigating challenges such as trauma, mental health crises, substance use concerns, and behavioral difficulties. Our programs are designed to be accessible, welcoming, and empowering for Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people alike. We work closely with families, schools, social services, and other community partners to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
Nightwind Treatment Centre was founded on the principle that every young person deserves compassionate, expert care that honors their cultural identity and lived experience. Our team consists of dedicated mental health professionals, youth care workers, Indigenous healers, and support staff who share a deep commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of the young people we serve. With multiple locations across Sturgeon County, Westlock County, and Athabasca County, we bring accessible treatment closer to the communities we serve.
